Gennaro Senatore won the Precision Control category at the National Instruments Engineering Impact Awards for his work on Adaptive Structures.

The winning UCL entry was Adaptive Truss: Structural strength when you need it, a full-scale adaptive structure prototype using NI CompactRIO for sensing and control intelligence.

The Precision Control finalist list also included Austin Consultants Ltd with a control system for refinishing diamond cut alloy wheels. Related NI award material reports 130 worldwide submissions.
